Our Story
Our team is small and mighty. With eight of us behind the scenes, together we have well over a hundred years of experience at what we do. In fact, we all used to work together at another company that helped writers, so some of you may be familiar with our names and faces already! But whether you’re an old friend or a brand-new writer looking for guidance, we’re here to help light the way.
Our Mission
First and foremost, we want to be a central source of support for writers. That’s why we offer comprehensive writing placement preparation and guidance with real, live people on our end (yes, we’ll actually speak with you on the phone!), gorgeous author websites, and even self-publishing assistance, should you choose that route.
We aim to be your one-stop shop for everything you’ll need to get your writing out into the world. But even more than that, we aim to be your personal champions along the way. That’s why we limit the number of applicants we accept as clients, as we prioritize quality and personalized attention for each writer. But never fear—we’ll be expanding that number as we grow into ourselves, and we’ll soon be launching our WriteLight Lite service as well, a quick and affordable option for writers who don’t require as much of a white glove service but still want to take advantage of our industry knowledge and submission selections.
How We Work
We work from home, in our pajamas! Just kidding… mostly.
Part of the benefit of being such a small, tightly-knit team who actually knows (and likes) each other is that when you have one of us cheering you on, you have all of us cheering you on. We’re a team and we’re YOUR team. While we all have years of experience in the publishing industry, we also have varied areas of expertise, so when you put all of us together—well, let’s just say you’re getting a steal of a deal no matter which services you enlist us for!

What’s In Store For The Future
We’ve already got some plans for expansion in the works so that we can offer our writers anything they may need to succeed. Our WriteLight Select service will be available soon, and we’re working with our marketing guru Joey from TrueFuture Media to develop some author marketing plans and services as well.
To keep aligned with our core mission, though, we aim to continuously expand and develop based on the feedback YOU provide.
